Claude Fashion Product Description Prompts: Write from Verified Facts

कथा वाचा
Claude fashion product-description prompt guide beside a model wearing a white shirt and navy trousers; illustrative AI artwork, not product evidence.

Give Claude an approved fact sheet and ask it to write only from that record. A product description can be appealing without inventing pure-cotton composition, hand embroidery, perfect fit or fast delivery. Missing facts should become questions, not polished guesses.

The most important writing step happens before the first paragraph: decide which source supports each claim. A catalogue image, supplier note and size chart have different jobs. Keep them separate so the model does not treat every attractive detail as proof.

The cover is AI-generated editorial artwork. Its garment is not the product record for any description in this guide.

Create a fact sheet that leaves room for unknowns

Use fields for product name, garment category, confirmed colour, composition, visible design, supplied fit label, measurements, care, included items and current commercial information. Leave unknown entries blank. Identify the source and date for details that may change, especially price, stock and delivery.

When using images, remember that Claude’s ability to analyse uploaded visuals does not turn an appearance-based guess into a specification. These prompts request written content, not product certification.

Eight copyable Claude product-writing prompts

1. Build a claim ledger

Read the attached product fact sheet. Return a ledger with fact, source, status and allowed wording. Mark blank, conflicting or unsupported entries as unresolved. Do not infer composition, origin, wash care, certifications, performance, stock or delivery from the product photograph.

2. Write an answer-first description

Using only the approved ledger, write a product description that first explains what the garment is and its visible design. Follow with construction details and optional styling ideas clearly labelled as suggestions. Keep the tone natural. Do not add superlatives, unsupported benefits or a different fabric description.

3. Turn features into useful explanations

Rewrite these verified feature notes into clear sentences. Explain what the reader can understand from each feature without inventing performance. Keep a chest pocket a chest pocket; do not call it secure storage unless that is supported. Flag any feature whose meaning is ambiguous.

4. Draft FAQs from actual customer questions

Answer these supplied customer questions using only the product ledger and size chart. Write a direct answer first. When information is missing, return a question for the seller instead of a public-facing invented answer. Do not promise a size will fit a particular body.

5. Create concise search metadata

Write three distinct SEO title options and one concise meta description from the verified facts. Use the garment category and meaningful design details naturally. Aim for a title around 50–60 characters and a description around 140–155 characters as editorial targets. Avoid keyword repetition, unverified offers and ranking promises.

6. Write accurate image alt text

Describe the visible content of each supplied product image in a concise sentence. Distinguish front, back and detail views where visible. Do not place hidden product specifications or keyword lists into alt text. Clearly identify an image as an AI illustration when that is its provided status.

7. Adapt the copy without duplicating paragraphs

Adapt the approved description into a short product summary, a detailed website section and a plain-language customer-service answer. Preserve every fact and qualifier across versions. Vary structure, not specifications. Do not add marketplace-specific rules unless I supply the current requirements.

8. Audit the final draft sentence by sentence

Check this draft against the approved ledger. For each factual claim, identify its supporting entry or mark it unsupported. Flag composition upgrades, invented inclusions, ambiguous size promises, exaggerated performance and outdated commercial details. Return a corrected draft and a separate list of unresolved questions.

Make the copy specific rather than louder

“A shirt with a spread collar and a restrained botanical pattern” communicates more than a chain of words such as ultimate, premium and exceptional. Specificity also makes the final copy easier to verify. Styling ideas can remain creative, but they should not imply that trousers, footwear or accessories are included.

Review the actual rendered page after publishing. Keep the final approved text and source ledger together for future updates. For the visual side of the same workflow, read Claude garment-reference briefs and TryBuy’s image QA guide.

Frequently asked questions

Should every missing attribute be filled for SEO?

No. An unsupported answer is worse than an unresolved field. Obtain the missing information before making the claim.

Can Claude make the description sound human?

A useful instruction is to replace vague adjectives with concrete facts, vary sentence length and remove repeated phrases. A human editor should still check the result.

Do SEO titles and FAQs guarantee AI-search visibility?

No. Clear content helps readers understand the page, but search rankings, indexing and AI citations are not guaranteed.
